Going to the zoo, Zoo, ZOO!!!!!

On the 8th of April, I went to the ZOOOOOO! Haha. It was a very random and spontaneous thing to do which resulted in me taking the first bus down to Ang Mo Kio when the sky was still dark and reaching with the sun high up already. :X

Met up with Darren and his tuition friends. Didn't expect the day to be so so so much fun and the ppl to be so awesome. I really had a great day, so much so when I tooked the photo's off Elizabeth's facebook, I couldn't help smiling... :)

We were among the first to reach save for a handful of tourists.

The guys: Andrew, Christon and Darren
The girls: Xinyun, Elizabeth and Me!!!

I started the day out laughing pretty bad. Haha!

Cool signboards for illiterates! :P

Some herb garden with a v nice name (unfortunately I forgot). Something like "garden with a view"?

Nice nice nice Seletar Reservoir.

Giraffe: "However you girls stretch, you are no match for me!"

Random shot~!

All the drinks were like $3 and above even for mineral water, so freaking ex. I would rather pay $10 for Ben and Jerry's milkshake. At least its not some rip-off tourist price. ZZZ! Okayyy, my priorities are abit off.

Kanga land! Okay, its called Down Under blahblahblah. Probably will see alot of these when I go the Brisbane.

Help! Let us in.................

Totem gods.

Transporting Darren to neverneverland where Peter Pan and little children nv grow up. Muahahaha!

New species?

The legendary Big Foot leaves the Alpine Mountains for the Deserts! 0_o"

Poor Kangaroo capable of jumping 13 metres but kept in a too small enclosure. :(

*squish squish squish*

Xinyun: "Here boy, I hv foooooooooooood."

It took ages for the poor Kangaroo to stand on its hind legs and since it couldn't jump, it just kept dragging itself along. So poor thing....

Emu also known more crudely as "Big Bird"! Sesame Street anyone?

At the Fragile Forest, I saw a family of I dunno what, skunks? Got baby somemore.

And alot alot of pretty butterflies!

In some exhibit.. They showed pestsssssss. The place smelled bad too!

Another statue, a hungry tortise so Xinyun fed it a pocky.

Are polar bears really tt huge?!

Cold blue waters which critics say is not cold enough for the polar bears who are actually suffering.... Animal cruelty!

Inuka. The bear cub breed at the Singapore Zoo. Apparently, he caused quite a controversy a few yrs back when his fur turned green? Now he may not get to stay in Singapore and we could well lose our Polar Bear exhibit entirely. Lucky I saw him already. :D

Sealion = Water show without fail!!!!

Goofing around...

Cute like wear-tuxedo penguins.

Elizabeth, Christon and Andrew.

Xinyun, Darren and Me, sitting on steps bcoz the place was packed.

Smart smart!

Monkey high up.

Monkey low down.

Stuffed monkey.

Monkey in photograph.

Monkey in drawing.

Monkey with red backside.

Elizabeth tagged the butt "Andrew" in facebook. Damn funny!

Be afraid........................................ Be very afraid.....................

The white tigers tt ate tt cleaner or something. I think they are the same ones coz I heard alot of ppl commenting while we were there.

Couldn't find the yellow tigers, Andrew's fav animal, so he settled for the tiger-imitation rubbish bin. :P

The king of the jungle sitting on Andrew's shoulder. Bwahaha!

Very, super, extremely, shagged out. Was so tempted to take the tram or the ferry to get back to the entrance at extra cost of course...

Mousedeer who looks nothing like a mouse and nothing like a deer. Heh!

In the Pets Corner.. PIG goes Oink!

Forgot the animal they were trying to pose with. Oops!

Dark photo of us trying to copy the hippos. I was too lazy to edit them before uploading. Lalala~

The evolution process!

Pygmy Hippos are known as water ballerinas.. But they seem quite clumsy to me. HAHAHA!

As still as a log... Did anyone notice the crocodile?

Urrrgh! Heavy!

Bye bye zoo! We had a blast!
